Leading through a Process of Education and Planning
The world of financial services is a complicated. Whether you are planning for yourself, your family or a business there are countless options to consider and costly mistakes can happen. So how do you minimize the risks while maximizing your opportunities? Educating yourself is one way to protect yourself or hiring a financial services professional is another. But what sources do you use to become educated and how do you know that the professional that you are hiring is going to make quality recommendations that are tailored to your situation? There are no simple solutions to solving these questions, but here at Pioneer Financial Group we go out of our way to make sure that our clients fully understand how the planning process works and why there is a need for developing a fee based comprehensive plan that is tailored to their individual situation. We will explain to them in a manner that is fully comprehensible, how certain financial products work and how they can be used in their particular situation. If they have a question we encourage them to ask. It’s important that our clients become educated consumers. Seperate from the financial plan and our role as financial planners, we may recommend the purchase of specific investment or insurance products or accounts. These product recommendations are not part of the financial plan and you are under no obligation to follow them. Our educational efforts are not just limited to our clients. In the community, we have made a concentrated effort to team up with area colleges and associations to bring financial education to individuals who may be looking for information. With programs ranging from continuing education sessions with area associations to a 6 hour class on retirement planning, Pioneer has been actively providing public financial education. Our classes that are offered at the University of Rhode Island and the Community College of Rhode Island in Newport are educational in nature, and do not promote specific investments. The classes are open to the public and are offered several times throughout the year. If you are looking to get to get 6 hours of financial education in a true classroom setting we strongly encourage you to contact us regarding the times and dates that are available. At Pioneer Financial Group, we pride ourselves on our ability to educate our clients and the community on the complexities that today’s financial world. Whether you are looking to hire a new advisor or you are looking for general financial education, we encourage you to feel free to look to us as your educational resource.
